Very Good, Very Good, Yay!
Dan and I planted laughter seeds all over the world last night through a laughter workshop
we presented at the first annual 3-Day Virtual World Yoga Conference titled “Yoga, Health and Happiness”. Whoo-hoo! Our workshop was called "Laughter Yoga! Laugh for the Health of It!" We had a blast sharing our passion for laughter with the global yoga community. As you can see by the photo we worked from our home office in South Dakota via headsets and a phone for this innovative presentation. Our moderator, Megan, was in Massachusetts and the company who held the conference, YogaHub, was based out of California. What a wonderful way to introduce people all over the planet to laughter. The call was recorded so those in different time zones, or who had previous conflicts, can listen to the workshop for up to two weeks through YogaHub's website.
We used this opportunity to share what laughter has done for us on a personal and business level, to educate yogis about the connection between laughter and yoga, and finally to lead a laughter session that included laughter exercises, laughter meditation and a relaxation. The whole enchilada!!
At the end of the hour-long workshop we took calls from people with questions, and the questions came from locations as far away as New Zealand, Canada and Utah. Yay! We left them with all with the challenge to seek out local laughter clubs in their area and to infect everyone they meet with the healing powers of laughter.
