Tanya and Noah!
We'd like you to meet the youngest member of the Sioux Falls Laughter Club - Noah!! Isn't he a cutie? That's his mom, Tanya, with him. Tanya started coming to laughter club before she was pregnant with Noah, and right from the start she immediately felt a connection with all of us. Laughter comes so natural to her, and it’s pure joy looking into her eyes and laughing uproariously!
Tanya is a member of our church and is the same age as our son Spencer, 20 years old. Our laughter club started in our church so it was a comforting place for many to try this new-fangled club they knew nothing about. When Tanya discovered she was pregnant, laughter club was a safe harbor and a place to find release in a very stressful situation. She came faithfully throughout her pregnancy, and she laughed with us up to three days before Noah was born! She found out she had high blood pressure near the end of her pregnancy, so we'd put her in a chair and laugh around her. She's always found comfort, joy and support laughing with her laughter friends.
Once Noah was born he became a regular at laughter club too. Tanya would carry him in a carrier on her tummy and we would all laugh and laugh with both of them. And because Noah heard us laughing all through his time in Tanya's tummy, he was the best baby during laughter meditation and relaxation. And he always makes us laugh with his natural childlike playfulness.
And now he's walking and growing! Pretty soon he'll be leading a laughter club himself and clapping "ho, ho, ha, ha, ha!" And because of his awesome mom, God's grace, and his buddies at laughter club - his life is going to be supernatural!!
And as we say in Laughter Yoga that's "very good, very good, yay!
